In order to promote effective governance of the Company, relevant structures have been put in place for the execution of the Company’s Corporate Governance strategy, as elucidated in its Governance Charters, such as the Board, the Board Committees, and Executive Management Committees.
The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for ensuring that the highest standards of corporate governance are maintained and adhered to by the Company. The Board adequately comprises an appropriate balance of skills and diversity (age, culture and gender) without compromising competence, independence, and integrity.

The company’s Internet application and Data Centre operations passed all the qualifications needed in investment industry, confirming the adequacy of the company’s security platform for online transactions.

Bit-stake currently has one of the lowest NPLs in the investment industry, a testimony to the company’s rigorous credit risk management process. STRONG CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The company is actively involved in community renewal and sustenance. Bit-stake remains the only business company in United Kingdom with a purpose-built foundation with a clear mandate for social intervention in the communities and countries in which the company operates. The Bit-stake Foundation is funded with one percent of the company’s profit after tax. The Foundation’s interventions are in the need areas of education, health, human capital development and special projects.

ABOUT Bit-stake FOUNDATION
Bit-stake is committed to being a socially responsible business investment company and role model for all businesses in United Kingdom. As the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the Bit-stake GROUP, Foundation is committed to the socio-economic betterment of the communities in which the company operates, focusing on development in the areas of Investment, Environment, Economic Empowerment and Special Projects. The Bit-stake Foundation was incorporated in May 2020.
